Travel Guide

Travel Guide for International Patients

If you have decided to travel from your home country to our hospitals for high-quality medical care, preparations made in advance with thorough research can help make your experience a smoother and easier one.

After confirming your appointment with the doctor, contact the hospital for specifics on the duration of your medical procedure and recovery, the required reports and certificates to show your medical history and results of previous examinations, as well as any additional fees and deposits.

An official invitation from the medical centre would help support your visa application to enter Malaysia if necessary. Be sure to translate all your documents to English and get an interpreter if needed. Think through the logistics of your travelling period to arrange for transport and book accommodations accordingly before your trip.

Having a flexible schedule or buffering a few extra days for your trip back home is always ideal in case your estimated rehabilitation period after treatment takes longer than expected. Lastly, remember to arrange for a remote consultation with the doctor upon your return to your home country.
